I tried something new for mounting this ceramic wall hanging! My husband's passion in life is providing tree branches to the animals at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I re-used some of the tree branches after the giraffe had stripped the leaves and bark off.
After the clay slab was smoothed and dried a bit I painted letters and leaves with underglazes. Then carved outlines and leaf veins.
Pottery appearance (i.e. color) may be slightly different than online images due to my amateur photography skills and variation in your screen settings. I do my best to upload photos which accurately represent each piece.
