My son Colby suggested the glaze names fire and ice! Fun, unusual mugs with irregular shape and texture, and an upside-down handle. The bottom portion of the mug's exterior was left unglazed to reveal the rich dark clay. An unexpected reaction between the glaze and clay occurred in the kiln, causing the unglazed clay to have a rare silvery sheen!
