Darkest brown at the base. Blending to deep magenta. Culminating in various hues of purple at the top, with a dusting of gold flecks. This piece started out as a symmetrical wheel-thrown form, which was then altered by hand. Some angles show an attractive profile with nice carved windows for candle light. Others show folding, gathering and compression of one side to repair a section that was trying to collapse. Knowing the reason for the unique anomaly may be infinitely more interesting to creative souls...
Luminary or purely a decorative piece, you choose! Approximately: 4.75" tall; 6.25" in diameter at widest points.
Pottery appearance (i.e. color) may be slightly different than online images due to my amateur photography skills and variation in your screen settings. I do my best to upload photos which accurately represent each piece.
